Ivanová, Karolína ; Hládeková, Katarína (referee) ; Smetana, Matěj (advisor)
In my bachelor thesis I will deal with the connection between observation and photography process. I watch how the process of photography is born in its simplest and most basic form and in the initial idea. The first part of my bachelor thesis consists of audio recordings where I capture the everyday moments of interest that I was interested in. I am interested in the relationship between photos by word / language, how the language enters the photo, and vice versa. It is enough to look at the picture and associations and memories and ideas are reflected in words and images. It's about raising "mental" photos in my mind. The second part of my bachelor's thesis consists of a mirror object, which is activated only when the viewer is involved in the observation process.

Methodology for determining forgeries and copies of miniature paintings
Sondej,Antonín ; Hradilová,Janka ; Hradil,David
The methodology describes the signs by which it is possible to distinguish between an original miniature portrait painting and other types of imitations, whether they were produced individually or in serial reproduction. For this classification, the methodology uses both routinely available tools (e.g. a magnifying glass or a stereomicroscope) as well as specialized imaging and analytical instruments, without the help of which accurate determination cannot be done. In all cases, these are non-invasive procedures that do not require any material removal from the painting. The analytical procedures used to determine the provenance of a work are in some cases completely new.
Reproduction as a problem of ontology and the value of an aesthetic object
RIGANOVÁ, Šárka
This thesis looks into problems of sensory indistinguishable Copy in ontology and evaluation of an aesthetic object in the field of fine arts. For this purpose it presents and compares chosen theoretical approaches of - Nelson Goodman, Reinold Schmücker, Günther Patzig, Eddy Zemach and Denise Dutton - on ontology of a work of art, an original and a Copy. It further observes approaches and solutions in the field of evaluating works of art and their Copies by already mentioned Nelson Goodman and then Arthur Koestler, Mark Sagoff, Kendall L. Waltonn and Tomáš Kulka, with emphasis on the theory of aesthetic dualism by Tomáš Kulka. His theory of aesthetic dualism, together with distinguishing identity of a work of art and its tangible holder (artefact; above all G. Patzig, E. Zemach), is initial for the suggestion of a new approach through aesthetic triadism. Aesthetic triadism suggests the solution of a problem of evaluating works of art and Copies with three values: aesthetic and artistic value (related to the work of art) and the value of authenticity (related to the artefact). This approach is afterwards confronted with mentioned theories of evaluation and then used in relation to aesthetic object, its constitution and evaluation. Aesthetic triadism leads to satisfying solutions of main and partial questions that are asked in this thesis - it leads to a conclusion that evaluation of a work of art and a Copy can be in theory comparable by its aesthetic and artistic value and different evaluation can be restricted only on the value of authenticity. On the other hand, in specific reception of works of art or Copies the value of authenticity can influence constitution and evaluation of an aesthetic object so much that it leads to a different view of an aesthetic object both in its aesthetic and artistic value.
Visual experince as example and pattern in relation to the expansion and influence into human life
Nohejl, Jiří ; Czumalo, Vladimír (advisor) ; Vojtěchovský, Miroslav (referee)
The main theme of this dissertation is to define an image as a visual experience. The human interaction is described by the author himself as a perception of the image, which serves as an information unit that could be presented as a possibility, example and pattern for the individual. There is an emphasis on the process of perception itself and on the way of interaction of an individual emphasizing the context of social learning and imitation in this text. The analysis of the principles of this interaction leading into introduction of the partial interactive models covering these processes is formed by the essential plane. The structure of the thesis is divided into ten main chapters in which the author tries to introduce a category of perception, a definition of the image and imitation as a tool of cultural transmission, presentation of the units of this transmission, the process of the interaction itself and analogous example of the fundamental role that a person in this interaction holds. There are also three analogies of these roles, which refer to the anthropological universal interaction describing the man as a gatherer and hunter. Their main purpose is to illustrate the form of a human experience better. Finally, there are reflections on the topic above. The possibilities and results, which...

Aspects of artistic training and patronage in Bohemia in the second half ot the 17th century. The case of Christian Schröder (1655-1702)
Fornasiero, Alice ; Zlatohlávek, Martin (advisor) ; Volrábová, Alena (referee) ; Oulíková, Petra (referee)
English The figure of Christian Schröder has been the pretext to address the attention to several problematic in the History of Modern Art in Bohemia. The issues are modelled on the evolution of the painter's career. Speaking about his beginnings at the service of Count Slavata, the function of Schröder as court painter has been discussed. The discover of archival documents concerning his study trip to Italy opens to the discussion on the artistic training in Italy as a phenomenon common to many painters from Bohemia. After his return in Prague, Schröder faced the choice to submit to the guild of painters or to get the post of Imperial painter which he finally obtained. Shortly after, he passed to the function of keeper of the Prague Castle picture gallery affirming himself as teacher of a group of students, among them Petr Brandl. Schröder's role as teacher is rethought on the light of the artistic situation of the last decade of the 17th century in Prague. The commission entrusted to Schröder by Gundakar Dietrichstein to paint forty-three copies after original paintings once located in the collections of the Prague Castle for the Libochovice estate has proved to be an help to affirm the passage of important original paintings through the picture gallery of Prague Castle and in few cases to...
